New water lines groups are available for the above machines. The new water lines groups contain improved brackets in order to provide better support for the water manifold. The new brackets can be used on all 797A and 797B Off Highway Truck Engines. Refer to Table 1 for a list of the new water lines groups that are available.

Verify that the threads for the rocker arm base are in acceptable condition. If the threads are not in acceptable condition, the rocker arm base must be repaired or replaced.
