Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
- Install needle bearings (20) to housing (2), if necessary.

- Use Tooling (B) in order to install bearing (17) to shaft (15) .

- Install spacer (18) and shaft seal (19) to shaft (15) .
- Use a suitable press to install shaft (15) onto housing (2) .

- Use Tooling (A) to install retaining ring (16). Install woodruff key (14) to shaft (15).
- Install bearings (13) to cover (6), if necessary. Install gasket (12) to cover (6) .

- Install dowel pins (10) and (9) to cover (6) .

- Install drive gear (8) and driven gear (11) to cover (6) .
- Carefully connect cover (6) to housing (2) and install bolts (7). Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 15 ± 2 N·m (132 ± 18 lb in).

- Install ball (3), spring (4), and screw (5) to housing (2). Tighten screw (5) to a torque of 18 ± 2 N·m (162 ± 18 lb in).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force. Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment. Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force. |
- Repeat Step 10 on screw (1) .
End By: Install the gear motor (vibratory). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Motor (Vibratory) - Install".
