Disconnect batteries before performance of any service work. |

1. Remove bolt (1), and the washer. Remove lever (2), the adapter, and the lever. Remove the O-ring seal from the adapter.
2. Remove bolt (3), the washer, and lever (2).
3. Use tool (A) to remove ring (6). Remove lever (5).
4. Remove seal (7).
NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the manual shutoff.
5. Use tool (B) to install seal (7). Install the lip of the seal toward the inside of adapter (4). Put clean engine oil on the lip of the seal.
6. Put lever (5) in adapter (4) and use tool (A) to install ring (6).
7. Put lever (2) in position and install the washer and bolt (3). Install the O-ring seal in on the adapter.
8. Install the levers and adapter. Make sure lever (5) is under and in contact with the governor stop lever. Install the washer and bolt (1).
