Replace the Gear when the Sleeve Bearing is Replaced {1212}

When the sleeve bearing for a cluster idler gear or for a camshaft idler gear is replaced, replacement of the gear is recommended. If the gear is replaced, the new gear comes with a machined sleeve bearing. If only the sleeve bearing is replaced, the sleeve bearing must be machined after the sleeve bearing is installed in the gear. Refer to Special Instruction, SEHS9282, "Machining of Replacement Sleeve Bearings". Refer to Table 1 for the part numbers of the bearings.
