The control switch for the vibratory system (1) is on top of the propel lever. The control switch for the vibratory system is a push button switch which clicks ON or OFF. A single depression of the button changes the condition of the switch.
When the control switch for the vibratory system is in the ON position, the power is delivered to the following items:
- Solenoid for the front drum
- Vibratory indicator
- Control switch for the vibratory system

The control switch for the vibratory drum (2) is located on the left side of the instrument panel on the double drum vibratory compactors. The CB-225E is not equipped with this switch.
The control switch for the vibratory drum is a two-position rocker switch. The left position is for BOTH DRUMS. The right position is for the FRONT DRUM. This switch receives power when the vibratory switch is closed. When the vibratory switch is in the left position, power is transfered to the solenoid for the rear drum.
