The hydraulic tank (1) is in the front of the engine. The engine compartment cover provides access to this component.
The following systems share a common hydraulic tank:
- Propel system
- Vibratory system
- Steering system
The sight gauge (2) is located at the left rear of the hydraulic tank. The sight gauge indicates the oil level in the hydraulic tank. The oil level should be visible in the sight gauge, but not over the top of the glass. The capacity of the hydraulic tank is 26 L (6.9 US gal).
The hydraulic tank is nonpressurized. The cap (3) is located on the left side of the hydraulic tank. The breather (4) is located to the right of the cap. The breather prevents pressure from accumulating in the tank.
The hydraulic oil temperature switch (5) is mounted to the back side of the hydraulic tank. When the hydraulic oil temperature is less than the actuation temperature of the switch, the switch is open. When the hydraulic oil temperature is greater than the actuation temperature of the switch, the switch is closed. When the switch is closed, the hydraulic temperature indicator on the instrument panel is illuminated.
