Usage:
1. Close the fuel supply on the engine.
2. Use tool (A) to remove fuel filters (4) from the base assembly.
3. Disconnect fuel lines (1), (2) and (3) from the base assembly.
4. Remove bolts (6), and remove fuel priming pump (5) and base assembly (7) as a unit from the engine.
Install Fuel Priming Pump And Fuel Filter Base
1. Put fuel priming pump (1) and base assembly (2) as a unit in position. Install the bolts to hold the unit in position.
2. Connect fuel lines (3), (4) and (5) to the base assembly.
3. Install fuel filters (6) on the base assembly. Follow the installation instructions on the filter.
4. Open the fuel supply line to the engine.
Disassemble Fuel Priming Pump And Fuel Filter Base
START BY:
a. remove fuel priming pump and fuel filter base
1. Remove bolts (3), the clip, support (4), bolts (1), priming pump (2) and the gasket from the base assembly.
2. Remove bolts (6), and remove support (5) from the base assembly.
3. Remove the bolts, and remove adapter (7) from the base assembly.
4. Remove bolts (9) and the nuts to make a separation of base assemblies (8) and (10).
5. If necessary, remove studs (11) from the base assemblies.
6. Remove the O-ring seals from the base assemblies.
Assemble Fuel Priming Pump And Fuel Filter Base
1. Put 9S3263 Thread Lock on the threads for studs (2) to a depth of 10 ± 1.50 mm (.394 ± .059 in.) in the base assemblies. Install studs (2), and tighten them to a torque of 68 ± 7 N·m (50 ± 5 lb.ft.).
2. Install O-ring seals (1) in the base assemblies, and put clean engine oil on the seals.
3. Put base assemblies (4) and (5) in position. Install the bolts and nuts to hold the assemblies together.
4. Install adapter (3) on the base assembly.
5. Install support (6) on the base assembly.
6. Put the gasket, fuel priming pump (7), clip (8) and support (9) in position on the base assembly. Install the bolts to hold the priming pump to the adapter. Install the bolts to hold the clip, the pump and the support to the base assembly.
