PRODUCT LINE ADDITIONS:
REMANUFACTURED 3024C ENGINES FOR SKID STEER LOADERS
Announcement
Effective 3rd Qtr 2008, Caterpillar
announces additional effectivity of two Remanufactured 3024C Tier II
engines for the Skid Steer Loader machine market. The 10R7921 and
10R7922 now can be used to replace 300-5205 and 300-5206 engines as
shown below.
*Shallow sump
engines and deep sump engines are NOT directly interchangeable. When
Reman engines are used to replace deep sump engines, Reman engines will
require the dealer to swap the Reman engine?s sump with the deep sump
from the original engine. The shallow sump should then be returned with
the core. Seed Support
Certain preceding part numbers are currently on initial seed support.
They might show ?0? on-hand quantity, even though orders for Reman will
be filled from new with new inventory on hand. When Reman is the
preferred option, for those part numbers, always order under the Reman
part number regardless of what the system shows for on hand, as long as
there is a new equivalent available, the Reman order will be filled.
Consist
Reman engines come fully assembled and dynamometer-tested. Caterpillar?s
cleaning, inspection and remanufacturing specifications provide the best
possible value for our customers. Flywheel, starter, alternator, and
associated wiring must be reused from the core engine or purchased
separately.
