Rework Procedure
Remove the 8X4177 Hose (90 degree) and insert the spring into the hose by rotating the spring so that the coils become smaller and the spring walks into the hose. The "large end" of the spring must be at the pump end when the hose is re-installed onto the engine.
NOTE: When removing the hose ensure the sea water valve is closed or a 2.5" plug is ready to insert into the fuel cooler outlet tube.
