NOTE: This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4826" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use " T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use " Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Action Required
During cold weather, low intake air temperatures may delay warm-up and cause poor performance immediately after start-up. Following a customer complaint of this problem, the installation of an intake air heater system will reduce warm-up periods as well as provide improved startability.
If the decision is made to install the 101069 Intake Manifold Heater, follow the procedures in Special Instruction SEHS9551, "Installing The 1023599 Intake Manifold Heater" to install the new parts. Any existing ether starting aid system must be diasbled prior to operation of the intake manifold heater.
