CHANGE IN REMAN 3500 ENGINE SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS

North America Commercial Division (NACD), Latin America Commercial Division (LACD), Asia Pacific Division (APD) and only Europe Africa Middle East (EAME) dealers serviced by the Johannesburg Distribution Center

Effective today, please ship ALL Reman 3500 engines to Corinth, Mississippi. This includes all warranty and non-warranty 3500 engine core shipments.

Please disregard the Warranty Core shipping instruction posted in the REM 03-27 IRM, PELJ0231

ALL Reman 3500 cores should be shipped to the address below:

There is no change for EAME dealers that are serviced from the Grimbergen Distribution Center. Dealers should continue to ship all warranty and non-warranty 3500 engine cores to Grimbergen.

Core Management

Please refer to the Caterpillar? Core Management Information System (CMIS 2) Parts Information application describing all reman part/CAF and related information. Also refer to other CMIS 2 inquiry applications such as Customer Profiles, Inspection Reason Codes, Inspection Line Inquiry, Add Charge Information, Entitlement Activity, Entitlement Inquiry, CCR Inquiry, CCR Entry, Shipment Processing; Process Packaging Grief; and Reporting to properly manage core returns and monitor inspection performance. This information will be available to all dealers worldwide after your CMIS 2 conversion date.
