This Program must be administered either before or after failure.
In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS42786" as the Part Number
and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code.
If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

A population of 735 and 740 Articulated Trucks could contain loose brake anchor bolts. If the brake anchor bolts are loose, there may be a leak. Tightening the bolts to the proper torque will solve the current problem.

Tighten the 6V-8336 Brake Anchor Bolts to a torque of 100 +/- 20 Nm (75 +/- 15 ft-lbs). The brake anchor bolts are part of the 217-6309 Brake Group. (Refer to Image 1 below.)
Refer to the attached Rework Procedure on how to remove the guards on the front and center axle.

Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure

1) Remove the guards on the front and center axle. Clean the dirt and debris from the brake anchor bolts. (Refer to Image 1.1.1)
2) Mark the start position when carrying out this procedure. Set the torque wrench to the static torque specification of 80 Nm. Check each bolt, if any bolt moves while performing this check then torque each bolt to 100 +/- 20 Nm. (Refer to Image 1 above in the Action Required)
