Usage:
Rotation is counterclockwise when seen from shaft end.
Type of pump: Piston
For bench test, use SAE 10W oil at 65°C (150°F).
Propel pump displacement ... 75.4 cm3/rev (4.6 in3/rev)
Test at full speed:
Output ... 171.3 liter/min (44.6 U.S. gpm)
at a pressure of ... 2050 kPa (300 psi)
with pump at ... 2300 rpm
with engine at ... 2300 rpm
Output ... 169.5 liter/min (44.1 U.S. gpm)
at a pressure of ... 6900 kPa (1000 psi)
with pump at ... 2300 rpm
with engine at ... 2300 rpm
Test at half speed:
Output ... 81.2 liter/min (21.1 U.S. gpm)
at a pressure of ... 2050 kPa (300 psi)
with pump at ... 1150 rpm
with engine at ... 1150 rpm

(1) Torque for twelve bolts ... 60 to 74 N·m (44 to 53 lb ft)
(2) Torque for six bolts ... 21 to 25 N·m (16 to 19 lb ft)
(3) Torque for charge relief valve cartridge ... 160 to 195 N·m (120 to 145 lb ft)
(4) Torque for six bolts ... 21 to 25 N·m (16 to 19 lb ft)
(5) Torque for eight bolts ... 60 to 74 N·m (44 to 53 lb ft)
(6) Put Loctite 271 Thread Lock on the threads of two servo bolts and tighten to a torque of ... 21 to 25 N·m (16 to 19 lb ft)
(7) Rigid thrust plate (earlier) ... 6.4 mm (.250 in)
(7) Flexible thrust plate (later) ... .8 mm (.032 in)
Swashplate breakaway force ... 9 to 22 N (2 to 5 lb)
NOTE: Swashplate breakaway force is a measurement of the force required to move the mechanical control lever. The addition or removal of shim from the trunnion cover increases or decreases the trunnion bearing preload which changes the force required to move the control lever. Use a spring compression scale attached to the control lever to check. Add or subtract shims to trunnion cover as necessary.
(8) Torque for bolts ... 60 to 74 N·m (44 to 53 lb ft)
(9) Torque for gage plug ... 21 to 25 N·m (16 to 19 lb ft)
(10) Displacement of charge pump ... 21.0 cm3/rev (1.28 in3/rev)
Charge pressure relief setting at NEUTRAL ... 1520 kPa (220 psi)
