(1) Torque for 16 nuts ... 540 to 680 N·m (400 to 500 lb ft)

(2) Torque for two nuts ... 135 N·m (100 lb ft)

NOTE: Using a soft hammer, rap the wheel hub, retighten the nut. Repeat this procedure until the nut will not advance with the application of 135 N·m (100 lb ft) of torque.

NOTE: After assembly of new bearings (3), loosen nut to relieve preload to zero torque. Tighten nut. Check rolling torque. Torque for rotation of wheel hub ... 4 to 7 N·m (3 to 5 lb ft).

NOTE: After assembly of old bearings (3), loosen nut to relieve preload to zero torque. Tighten nut. Check rolling torque. Torque for rotation of wheel hub ... 2.0 to 3.4 N·m (1.5 to 2.50 lb ft).

(4) Torque for 32 bolts ... 90 to 120 N·m (65 to 90 lb ft)
