The Display button (7) allows the operator to adjust the operation display screen brightness, to select a specific language, to select a specific measuring unit (Metric or English) and allows the operator to read the software license information.

  1. Press the Display button (7). The display menu page will appear.

The display page contains the following subpages:

  • "Language"

  • "Brightness"

  • "Units"

  • "Clock Set"

  • "Software License Info"

"Language"

Performance Page > MENU > Display > Language

View all display values in a preferred language by changing the display language settings.

Note: English is the default language.

  1. Press the "Display" button. The display menu page will appear.

  2. Press the "Language" menu button (1). The language settings page will appear.

    Note: The Current setting status field (2) on the "Language" button shows the language setting to be "English".

  3. Press the intended button in the language menu button group. A check box will appear in the selected menu button.

  4. Press the "OK" button (4) to return to the previous page.

"Brightness"

The "Brightness" setting enables the user to adjust the brightness of the operation display.

  1. Press the "Display" button. The display menu page will appear.

  2. Press the "Brightness" menu button (1). The brightness menu page will appear.

    Note: A greater than icon (>) appearing in the Current setting status field (2) indicates that the user must press the menu button to see more information.

  3. Use the Increment/Decrement bar (7) to adjust the brightness of the operation display.

    1. Decrease the brightness of the display by pressing the Minus (8) arrow button.

    2. Increase the brightness of the display by pressing the Plus (6) arrow button.

  4. Press the Back button (4) to return to the previous menu.

  5. Press the Home button (3) to return to the Performance page (home page).

Day Mode/Night Mode Button

(1) Day Mode/Night Mode button

As it is visible on the performance page, the Day Mode/Night Mode button (1) also appears on the brightness settings page. Pressing the button allows the operator to toggle between day mode and night mode.

"Units" Selection

Performance Page > MENU > Display > Units

The units page allows the operator to view parameter values in preferred units by changing the Units settings for the display.

The selection of the preferred units is limited to Metric and English.

  1. Press the "Display" menu button. The display menu page will appear.

  2. Press the "Units" menu button (1). The units settings page will appear.

  3. Press the intended menu button in the units menu button group. Metric (4) English (3).

    Note: A white check mark will also appear in the selected menu button.

  4. Press the "OK" button (6) to confirm the selection.

    Note: The operation display will convert the system values to the selection and add the appropriate unit abbreviation for each value.

  5. Press the Home button (5) to return to the performance page (home page).

Clock Set

The Clock (2) is shown in the message window. In the clock set page, the operator can set the clock to the following settings:

  • AUTO / Manual

  • AM/PM Hour Format to 24 Hours Format

  1. Press the "Display" button. The display page will appear.

  2. Press the "Clock Set" button (1). The Clock Set page will appear.

Coordinated Universal Time (Auto / Manual) Toggle Switch

(7) UTC Auto/Manual toggle switch

The Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) Auto/Manual toggle switch (6) allows the operator to toggle between the following settings:

  • Auto The clock is set to UTC.

  • Manual The clock is set to UTC plus the local time offset.

Note: UTC Is a primary standard in which clocks and time are regulated world-wide. UTC is interchangeable with Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

Clock Set Page in Auto Mode

When the Clock Setting is in the auto mode, the UTC Auto/Manual toggle switch (6) is shifted to the right and is green. The time shown on the screen in the message window and in the setting screen widgets is UTC + time zone (local time including daylight savings time), without the local offset being taken into account.

While in the auto mode, the "Hour" Increment/Decrement bar (2), the "Minutes" Increment/Decrement bar, (1) and the "AM" "PM" toggle switch (5) are not active and are not touchable. The "12" "24" toggle switch (6) remains active and touchable.

Auto mode is the default mode.

  1. Press the UTC Auto/Manual toggle switch (7) to ensure that the switch has shifted to the right and is green.

  2. Press the "OK" button (3) to confirm the setting change and return to the previous page.

  3. Press the Home button (4) to return to the performance page (home page).

Clock Set Page in Manual Mode

When the clock setting is in the manual mode, the UTC Auto/Manual toggle switch (7) is shifted to the left and is gray. The time shown on the Message window is UTC and local offset.

While in the manual mode, the"Hour" Increment/Decrement bar (2), the "Minutes" Increment/Decrement bar (1), the "AM" "PM" toggle switch, (5) and the "12" "24" toggle switch (6) remains active and touchable.

  1. Press the UTC Auto/Manual toggle switch (7) to ensure that the switch has shifted to the left and is gray.

  2. Press the "OK" button (3) to confirm the setting change and return to the previous page.

  3. Press the Home button (4) to return to the performance page (home page).

12 Hour/24 Hour Mode

To set the clock to the 12-Hour mode, perform the following steps.

  1. Press the "12" "24" toggle switch (7). A white frame around the number "12" shows that the clock is in the 12-hour mode.

  2. Press the "AM" "PM" toggle switch (6). A white frame will surround the chosen setting.

    Note: Ensure that the correct time is set in the message window.

  3. Press the "OK" button (5) to confirm the settings change and to return to the previous page.

  4. Press the Home button (4) to return to the performance page (home page).

To set the clock to the 24-hour mode, perform the following steps.

  1. Press the "12" "24" toggle switch (7). A white frame around the number "24" shows that the clock is in the 24-hour mode.

    Note: Ensure that the correct time is set in the message window.

  2. Press the "OK" button (5) to confirm the settings change and to return to the previous page.

  3. Press the Home button (4) to return to the performance page (home page).

To set the time of the clock, perform the following steps.

  1. Ensure that the UTC Auto/Manual toggle switch (8) is switched to manual. (Left Side – Gray)

  2. Set the hour by pressing the Minus button (10) or the Plus button (9) on the "Hour" Increment/Decrement bar (2). The number will turn to yellow during the change.

  3. Release either the Minus button (10) or the Plus button (9) when the correct time appears. When the number appears in white, the time is set.

  4. Set the minutes by pressing the Minus button (10) or the Plus button (9) on the "Minutes" Increment/Decrement bar (1). The number will turn to yellow during the change.

  5. Release either the Minus button (10) or the Plus button (9) when the correct time appears. When the number appears in white, the time is set.

    Note: Ensure that the correct time is set in the message window.

  6. Press the "OK" button (5) to confirm the settings change and to return to the previous page.

  7. Press the Home button (4) to return to the performance page (home page).

"Software License Info"

Performance Page > MENU > Display > Software License Info

  1. Press the display button. The display page will appear.

  2. Press the Up button (3) or the Down button (4) to scroll the display page. The Scroll bar (2) with menu sliding indicator will move along with the page.

  3. Press the "Software License Info" button (1). The "Software License Info" page will appear.

  4. Begin by pressing the Down button (4) to scroll through and read the pages of the "Display Software End User License Agreement."

    Note: By pressing the Down button (4) and scrolling the page downward, the Up button (3) will appear. Press the Up button (3) to scroll back up the page. The menu sliding indicator of the Scroll bar (2) will move with the page. The down arrow button icon will disappear upon reaching the bottom of the page.

    Note: It is important that the operator reads in total and fully understands the content of the "Display Software END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT".

  5. Press the Back button (5) to return to the previous menu.

  6. Press the home button (6) to return to the performance page (home page).
