Housing (Front) - Remove
Start By:
- Remove the engine oil pan.
- Remove the gear group (front).
- Remove the fuel injection pump.

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. - Remove bolts (1) that secure bypass tube (2) to front housing (3). Remove bypass tube (2) from the cylinder head. Remove O-ring (4) and gasket (5) from bypass tube (2).

Note: The bolts are three different lengths. Note the positions of the different bolts.
- Remove front housing (3) from the cylinder block.
- Remove gasket (6).
