1. Pelumasan

A. Lepaskan penutup mekanisme katup. Rujuk ke Pembongkaran dan Perakitan, "Penutup Mekanisme Katup - Pelepasan dan Pemasangan" untuk prosedur yang benar.

B. Start engine dan periksa pelumasan di kompartemen katup. Pastikan ada aliran oli engine yang memadai di kompartemen katup. Saluran untuk oli engine harus bersih.

Catatan: Jangan operasikan engine dengan penutup mekanisme katup yang dilepaskan.
 

Pelumasan
 

Hasil: Aliran oli ke mekanisme katup tidak memadai.

Pastikan saluran untuk oli engine bersih.

Hasil: Aliran oli ke mekanisme katup OK.

Lanjutkan ke Langkah Pengujian 2.
 

2. Komponen Rangkaian Katup

A. Periksa pengangkat hidraulik untuk pengoperasian yang benar. Lihat Pengoperasian Sistem, Pengujian, dan Penyetelan, "Jarak Celah Katup Engine - Inspeksi".

B. Periksa komponen rangkaian katup berikut untuk melihat adanya ketidaknormalan atau aus berlebih, kelurusan, dan kebersihannya:

-Rocker arm
-Jembatan katup
-Pushrod
-Pengangkat hidraulik
-Camshaft
-Batang katup
-Poros ayun
 

Komponen rangkaian katup
 

Hasil: Komponen rangkaian katup aus, bengkok, atau tidak bersih.

Perbaiki atau ganti komponen. Rujuk ke Pembongkaran dan Perakitan.

Catatan: Jika camshaft diganti, pengangkat hidraulik baru juga harus dipasang.

Verifikasikan bahwa reparasi menyelesaikan masalah.
