Usage:

D379, D398, D399 Industrial And Marine Engines

SUPPLEMENT: 10/26/83

ENGINE NEWS, OCTOBER 22, 1980, PAGE 4.

In the article "List Of Correct Fuel Injection Nozzle Assemblies To Use For Different Engine Applications," a change must be made to a heading in the chart. After the heading, Woodward Governor, add "(in generator sets)." The part numbers under this heading are for generator sets only.

--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------

Some dealers and service personnel have desired more information about the correct fuel injection nozzle assemblies to use in D379, D398 and D399 Engines for specific engine applications. An earlier article, "New Nozzle Assembly Used In Fuel Injection Valves" tells about the use of a new 8N1831 Nozzle Assembly in place of a former 7S1059 Nozzle Assembly on these models. This is correct for some engine applications, but a different nozzle assembly is used for other engine applications. The chart that follows shows the correct nozzle assembly to use in D379, D398, and D399 Engines for different engine applications.
