Use Only Caterpillar Water Separator Elements
Usage:
All 3200 And 3300 Series Engines Equipped With Sleeve Metering Fuel Systems
Several fuel filter manufacturers (those who make) make water separator elements that will fit the 6N7624 Base used in water separators for 3200 and 3300 Series Engines equipped with sleeve metering fuel systems.
Use only the Caterpillar 6N7617 Water Separator Element with the 6N7624 Base in Caterpillar Engines.
Elements made by other manufacturers must be installed up side down in the 6N7624 Base. When installed up side down, these elements do not give good filter or water separation protection.
