Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the vibration damper.

1. Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device in order to support the weight at the front of engine (1). The weight of engine (1) is approximately 12115 kg (26710 lb).

2. Remove two of bolts (2) that are marked with an X. Install Tooling (B). Remove the remaining bolts (2).

3. Remove bolts (3). Attach a suitable lifting device onto trunnion (4). The weight of trunnion (4) is approximately 64 kg (140 lb).

4. Remove trunnion (4).

Installation Procedure

1. Install trunnion (4) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 570 ± 80 N·m (420 ± 59 lb ft).
