Service Tool Connector Pin Out Update For Certain 3512C Engines {1408, 7553}
- Engine:
- 3512C (S/N: WF51-178,180-188,191-193,196-200)
- Petroleum Engine:
- 3512C PETROLEUM (S/N: R1A1863-1954; R1S1355-1607)
Two wires in the nine pin service tool connector are in the wrong location.
The wire in location G and the wire in location F need to swap locations. This action will correct the problem of the CAN + and the CAN - being in the incorrect locations.
Table 1 contains the tools that are required to switch the wiring in the engine harness. Table 2 contains the effective serial numbers for this change.
