Smaller Diameter Fuel Supply Line May Cause Power Loss

Usage:

3208 Truck Engines With Turbochargers (2Z) in Ford C-8000 And L-8000 Series Trucks

The 3208 Truck Engines with turbochargers may have a power loss at low ambient temperatures (temperatures below fuel cloud point). This condition can be resolved by changing the fuel supply line and associated fittings from No. 6 hose to No. 8 Aeroquip (or equivalent) hose. The fuel supply line is supplied by the truck manufacturer. The new larger diameter line must be routed the same as the original production fuel line.
