Cat ELC（長效期冷卻液）無須經常添加目前傳統冷卻液使用的輔助冷卻添加劑。 添加 Cat ELC 延長劑一次即可。

卡特彼勒長效期冷卻液 (ELC) 延長劑只能搭配卡特彼勒 長效期冷卻液使用。 卡特彼勒長效期冷卻液不可搭配普通的補充用冷卻液添加劑使用。 將普通冷卻液和/或一般的補充用冷卻液添加劑混入卡特彼勒 長效期冷卻液會縮短卡特彼勒 長效期冷卻液的使用壽命。 |

熱的冷卻液、蒸氣和鹼可能造成人身傷害。 在引擎工作溫度下，引擎冷卻液是熱的且具有壓力。 散熱器和所有通向加熱器或引擎的管路內，都含有熱的冷卻液或蒸氣。 與它們有任何接觸，都可能引擎嚴重的燙傷。 只在引擎停機時，且冷卻系統壓力蓋的溫度已不燙手時，才可以慢慢拔掉冷卻系統壓力蓋來釋放壓力。 冷卻液還很燙時，請勿嘗試旋緊軟管接頭，這樣軟管可能會脫離，造成燙傷。 冷卻系統冷卻液添加物含有鹼。 避免與皮膚及眼睛接觸。 |

在檢驗、保養、測試、調整及修理設備時，請小心確保液體有容器盛裝。 在打開任何腔室或拆卸任何含有液體的組件前，應準備好盛裝液體的適當容器。 請參閱 專門出版物 , NENG2500, "卡特彼勒工具和車間產品指南 以了解有關的工具和用品，其適合收集和盛裝 卡特彼勒" 產品的油液。 按照當地的條例和法規棄置廢棄的油液。 |
- 緩慢擰鬆冷卻系統加注口蓋以釋放壓力。 取下冷卻系統加注口蓋。
- 排放一些冷卻系統內的冷卻液，以添加可能需要的 Cat ELC 延長劑。
- 請依據引擎冷卻系統容量的需求添加 Cat ELC 延長劑。 請參閱操作保養手冊, "再加注容量與建議"部分，以了解更多資訊。
- 清潔冷卻系統加注口蓋。 檢查冷卻系統加注口蓋的密封墊。 若密封墊損壞，則更換冷卻系統加注口蓋的密封墊。 安裝冷卻系統加注口蓋。
