New Water Lines Groups Are Used for Venting of the Separate Circuit Aftercooler (SCAC) {1353, 1380}

Usage:

3516B PBR
Generator Set:
3512B (S/N: ZAH1-UP; ZAJ1-UP)
3516B (S/N: ZAP1-UP; PBR1-UP; ZAR1-UP; YAT1-UP)

Description of Change: The new water lines groups will provide separate venting of the aftercooler system on generator sets. This change is needed so that the coolant from the jacket water and the coolant from the aftercooler do not mix.

Adaptable To: The new water lines groups are for the above 3512B and 3516B Generator Sets with CTS radiators.

This change is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers that are listed above.

Refer to Illustration 1 for reference.

(1) Water lines group

Use the new 337-6521 Water Lines Gp or the new 337-6517 Water Lines Gp to replace the original hose that connects the SCAC and the regulator group. The vent line must have a continuous upward slope. To avoid blockage in the vent line, make sure that the vent line is routed in a manner that will avoid trapped fluid. Do not allow any dips in the routing of the vent line.

Refer to Table 1 for the part numbers.
