Start By:

Remove the diesel exhaust fluid module.

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Disconnect hose assemblies (1). Disconnect hoses (2).

Disconnect harness assembly (3). Cut cable straps (4) that attach harness assembly (3) to the diesel exhaust fluid module.

Remove bolts (5) and remove plate (6).

Remove bolts (9) and bolt (11). Separate diesel exhaust fluid module tank (8) from diesel exhaust fluid module pump (10).

Remove clips (14) and remove hose assembly (13). Remove clips (16) and remove hose assembly (15).

Remove O-ring seal (20). Remove plug (21) and the O-ring seal. Remove fitting (22) and the O-ring seal.

Disconnect harness assembly (23). Remove solenoid valve assembly (24).

Cut cable straps (35) that secure harness assembly (36) to plate (34).
Disconnect harness assembly (36).
Remove bolts (37) and remove plate (34).

Cut cable straps (41) that secure harness assembly (36) to support assembly (40). Remove harness assembly (36).

Note: Place identification marks on DEF pump coolant connectors (42) and DEF pump connectors (43) for installation purposes. DEF pump coolant connectors (42) and DEF pump connectors (43) are not interchangeable.
Remove DEF pump coolant connectors (42) and DEF pump connectors (43). Remove the O-ring seals.
