Note: DEF pump coolant connectors (42) and DEF pump connectors (43) must be installed in the original location when removed. DEF pump coolant connectors (42) and DEF pump connectors (43) are not interchangeable.

1. Install the O-ring seals (not shown) . Install DEF pump coolant connectors (42) and DEF pump connectors (43).

2. Tighten DEF pump coolant connectors (42) to a torque of 5.5 ± 0.5 N·m (48 ± 4 lb in).

3. Tighten DEF pump connectors (43) to a torque of 4.5 ± 0.5 N·m (40 ± 4 lb in).

4. Position harness assembly (36). Attach cable straps (41) to secure harness assembly (36) to support assembly (40).

5. Position diesel exhaust fluid pump (39) to support assembly (40). Install bolts (38). Tighten bolts (38) to a torque of 19 ± 2 N·m (168 ± 18 lb in).

6. Position plate (34) and install bolts (37).

7. Connect harness assembly (36).

8. Attach cable straps (35) to secure harness assembly (36) to plate (34).

11. Install cover (31). Tighten cover (31) to a torque of 20 ± 5 N·m (177 ± 44 lb in).

12. Connect harness assembly (30) to electronic control (29). Position electronic control (29) and attach cable straps (28).

13. Position control module (27) and install bolts (26). Tighten bolts (26) to a torque of 10 ± 2 N·m (89 ± 18 lb in).

14. Install relays (25).

15. Install solenoid valve assembly (24). Connect harness assembly (23).

16. Install fitting (22) and the O-ring seal. Install plug (21) and the O-ring seal. Install O-ring seal (20).

19. Apply Tooling (A) to the O-ring seals for hose assemblies (13) and (15).

20. Install hose assembly (15) and the O-ring seal. Install clips (16). Tighten the bolts for clips (16) to a torque of 6 ± 1 N·m (53 ± 9 lb in) and maximum RPM of 60.

21. Install hose assembly (13) and the O-ring seal. Install clips (14). Tighten the bolts for clips (14) to a torque of 6 ± 1 N·m (53 ± 9 lb in) and maximum RPM of 60.

22. Install bracket (12) to diesel exhaust fluid module tank (8).

26. Connect harness assembly (3). Attach cable straps (4) to secure harness assembly (3) to the diesel exhaust fluid module.

27. Connect hoses (2).

28. Apply Tooling (A) to the O-ring seals for hose assemblies (1). Connect hose assemblies (1).
