(2) Bore in idler gear bearing ... 1.5015 ± .0019 in.(38.138 ± 0.048 mm)
Diameter of idler gear shaft ... 1.4977 ± .0005 in.(38.042 ± 0.013 mm)
(3) Thickness of scavenge pump body ... 2.0050 ± .0005 in.(50.927 ± 0.013 mm)
Thickness of scavenge pump gears ... 2.0000 ± .0005 in.(50.800 ± 0.013 mm)
End clearance between scavenge pump gears and cover (new) ... .004 to .006 in.(0.10 to 0.15 mm)
(4) Thickness of oil pump body ... 3.0050 ± .0005 in.(76.327 ± 0.013 mm)
Thickness of oil pump gears ... 3.0000 ± .0005 in.(76.200 ± 0.013 mm)
End clearance between oil pump gears and cover (new) ... .004 to .006 in.(0.10 to 0.15 mm)
(5) Free motion (backlash) between idler and driven gears ... .002 to .014 in.(0.05 to 0.36 mm)
(6) Diameter of drive and driven shafts ... 1.2497 ± .0003 in.(31.742 ± 0.008 mm)
Bore in the bearings for the drive and driven shafts ... 1.2524 ± .0005 in.(31.811 ± 0.013 mm)
NOTE: Install the bearings in the 5S1551 Cover so the oil holes in the bearings are in alignment with the oil hole in the 5S1551 Cover.
NOTE: Install the bearings in the 5S1559 Cover so that the bearing junctions (joints) are in the position shown.
(7) Torque for retaining nut of drive gear (tighten to install cotter pin) ... 100 lb. ft.(135 N·m)
(8) Plunger of the pressure relief valve.
(9) 6N1280 Spring for pressure relief valve:
