(3) Put 9S-3263 Sealant on the last 7.6 mm (.30 inch) of thread at the base end of the studs.
Tighten the studs under the filter base to the following torque. ... 80 ± 14 N·m (60 ± 10 lb ft)
Note: Put clean engine oil on the filter seals. Position the filters on stud (3) and tighten the stud until the seals make contact with the base. Tighten the filters for an additional 3/4 turn (270 degrees).
(4) 4N-8150 Spring for either bypass valve (1) or bypass valve (2)
Length under test force ... 55.25 mm (2.175 inch)
Test force ... 75 ± 5 N (17 ± 1 lb)
Free length after test ... 93.7 mm (3.69 inch)
Outside diameter ... 20.6 mm (.81 inch)
