The compressor side of the turbocharger cartridge may develop oil leaks on certain E200B and EL200B Excavators; CP563 and CS563 Compactors; and AP1050 Pavers. The existing cartridge group may be replaced with a new cartridge group.

Action Required
The clearance between the compressor wheel and the bearing housing is less on the new cartridge group. The reduced clearance can eliminate the negative pressure behind the compressor wheel. Without the negative pressure, less oil will pass through the ring seal.
If the turbocharger leaks on the compressor side, replace the 7C5624 Cartridge Group with the parts listed using Service Manual disassembly and assembly procedure.
