(1) Tighten the plugs to the following torque. ... 4 ± 1 N·m (35 ± 9 lb in)
Note: Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting for the correct method of inspecting the flywheel housing.
Note: Apply 1U-8846 Liquid Gasket to all of the sealing surfaces of the flywheel housing. The flywheel housing must be assembled and tightened to the block within ten minutes.
