ECM - Configure
The Plus+1 Service Tool for Caterpillar configuration screen is used to tell the ECM about optional components and features that are fitted to the machine and to set certain characteristics of the operation of the machine. Follow these instructions for setting the machine ECM with the correct machine configurations.
Refer to Troubleshooting, "Using the Electronic Service Tool to Determine Diagnostic Codes". Follow the steps under "Service Tool Communication Settings and Connections".

- Click the "Configuration" button (1).
- Enter the “Machine Setup” parameters (2) for the machine.
- Click the "Save" button (3) for each new parameter.
- Click the "Exit" button (4) and turn the Key Start switch to the OFF position.
