Description of Change: New ball studs replace the former ball studs in the steering linkages and the steering cylinders. A new design and changes to the material have improved the strength of the new ball studs. The new ball studs use a new race and a new seal. The new race contains a grease groove in order to improve lubrication.

Adaptable To: The new 273-0120 Ball Stud replaces the former 7D-1292 Ball Stud and the former 221-5305 Ball Stud in the following steering linkages and steering cylinders and mounting groups. The new ball studs are used with the new 274-9256 Race and the new 283-5593 Seal. The new ball studs are a direct replacement for the former ball studs.
