Oil Passage in the Cylinder Head{1100, 1102}

Backhoe Loader:: 420D (S/N: BLN10940-12490; FDP20100-24144); 424D (S/N: RXA1120-1785); 432D (S/N: WEP750-1853)

Introduction

This issue concerns the engine cylinder head in the following backhoe loaders: 420D, 424D and 432D.

Problem

The hole for the oil passage up to the rocker arm shafts is not completely drilled. The Rocker arms will have a shortage of oil, that will result in early hour failure of the engine.

Solution

If the hole for the oil passage is not completely drilled, replace the cylinder head.
