The 4C4213 Insulation Tester is used as an installation, preventive maintenance, and repair tool for checking winding insulation on EPG sets built by Caterpillar.

Important features of the 4C4213 Insulation Tester are:

...Battery powered, hand-held, in rugged plastic case.

...Gives a direct digital readout of the measurement.

...Capable of functioning as a continuity tester with an audible tone, a voltmeter with a range of 500V, and an ohmmeter that measures insulation resistance in megohms.

...Has a warning indicator that gives a visual indication if connected to a live circuit.

...Power supplied by a single 9V Battery.

...Automatically turns off after one hour, if left unattended.
