New Software Updates are Now Available for Certain 773E and 777E Off-Highway Trucks {7490, 7610, 7620} Caterpillar

777E (S/N: KDP1-UP; KDZ1-UP)

New Chassis software, Advisor software, and Telematics software updates are now available for certain 773E and 777E Off-Highway Trucks.

Note: The new software is available in the form of a flash file through the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS). Go to SIS web to make sure that the new flash file part number is still the latest flash file part number. A newer flash file part number may be available. SIS only displays the latest available flash file.

Chassis Software

The new and former part numbers are listed in Table 1.

The new chassis control software has varying improvements that are listed below:

• Updated heated mirror as optional attachment for KDP and ; KDZ prefixes.

• Updated for suppressed diagnostic codes at key ON.

- Suppressed diagnostic codes 248-9 and 800-9 during key ON, to account for PL Elite Electronic Control Module (ECM) boot up time.

Advisor Software

The new and former part numbers are listed in Table 2.

The new advisor software has varying improvements that are listed below:

• Updated to have fixed date, time, and ambient air temperature values in "Advisor" status bar.

• Enhanced to align brake air pressure indicator status with low system air pressure, event code E289 on 773E.

The new advisor software part number for various languages are listed in Table 3.

Telematics Software

The new and former part numbers are listed in Table 4.

The new telematics software has the below mentioned improvement:

• Updated to reduce difference between VIMS and SC2 data in 2017B on cycle times, cycle distances, and fuel used.
