A New Coolant Pressure Sensor Is Now Used on Certain G3600 A4 Engines {1439} Caterpillar

G3616 (S/N: ZZY1-UP)

Description Of Change: The new pressure sensor seal is more resistant to coolant.

Adaptable To: The new 416-6999 Pressure Sensor Gp replaces the former 320-3061 Pressure Sensor Gp.

The new pressure sensor is adaptable to the above engines back to first production.

This change is effective for the serial numbers listed in Table 1.

1. Remove and discard the 320-3061 Pressure Sensor Gp.

2. Remove the adapter and discard the original O-ring.

3. Reinstall the original adapter and one O-ring (3) into the tube assembly.

4. Install pressure sensor (1) and one O-ring (2) into the original adapter.

   Tighten coolant pressure sensor ... 10 ± 2 N·m (89 ± 18 lb in)
