Engine Control Module - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the electronic control (Aftertreatment).
- Disconnect the battery. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery or Battery Cable - Disconnect".
- Remove bolts (1) and remove cover (2) .

- Remove bolts (3) and (4). Position the harness assembly out of the way.
- Remove bolt (7). Disconnect hose assemblies (5) and (8) .

- Remove plate (6) .
- Remove studs (9). Remove engine control module (10), the washers, and the isolation mounts.

Installation Procedure
- Install engine control module (10) in reverse order of removal.
- Tighten bolt (3) to a torque of 7 ± 0.5 N·m (62 ± 5 lb in).
