Typical example

1. Install the engine speed sensor into the 5/8 threaded hole and turn until the magnetic core makes contact with a tooth of the flywheel gear.

2. Back out 180 degrees and tighten the engine speed sensor to the following torque:

   Torque for sensor ... 25 ± 5 N·m (18 ± 4 lb ft)

The clearance between the engine speed sensor and the flywheel ring gear is the following value: ... 0.56 to 0.84 mm (0.022 to 0.033 inch)
