Altitude Operation
Usage:
The governor housing is sealed for your protection. Changes to the fuel rack setting, or high idle speed should be made only by an authorized dealer.
If an engine is to be operated at a higher altitude than adjusted for, a fuel rack adjustment is necessary to provide the proper fuel-air ratio to maintain exhaust smoke and exhaust temperature at an acceptable level.
Altitude at which rack setting adjustment (derating) should begin.
