Fuel Injection Valves

Usage:

Remove Fuel Injection Valves

1. Remove valve cover.

2. Remove the inner fuel injection line.

3. Remove nut (1) for the fuel injection valve.

4. Remove the fuel injection valve assembly from the precombustion chamber.

5. Remove the fuel injection valve from the valve body.

Install Fuel Injection Valves

1. Install the fuel injection valve (1) on the valve body (2). Tighten the valve finger tight only.

2. Install the fuel injection valve assembly (3) in the precombustion chamber.

NOTE: Make sure the fuel injection valve is correctly in its seat in the precombustion chamber before the nut is installed.

3. Install the nut for the fuel injection valve. Tighten the nut to a torque of 105 ± 5 lb.ft. (142.4 ± 6.8 N·m).

4. Install the inner fuel injection lines. Tighten the nuts on the fuel injection lines to a torque of 30 ± 5 lb.ft. (40.7 ± 0.7 N·m).

5. Install the valve cover.
