Usage:
NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI10023" as the Part number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI10023" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Problem
A potentially hazardous condition has been identified on certain 3500 Commercial engines with IEA Radiators. The fan spider to drive hub retaining bolts need to be tightened to the correct torque.If the bolts come loose it is possible that the fan spider could disengage resulting in hazardous projectiles.

Rework Procedure
1. Shut the engine down and "lock out" (i.e. depress E-Stop button).
2. Remove the lower two guards from the front of the radiator.
3. Remove the center filler section from between the cores to gain access to the fan spider retaining bolts.
4. Tighten the fan spider to drive hub bolts to a torque of 105 N·m (78 ft lb.)
5. Replace filler section and guards. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 25 N·m (18 ft lb).
