Water Spray System Available For Lower Conveyor{5612}

Usage:

PR-450 Pavement Profilers

A water spray system is available for the lower conveyor. This system "tees" into the existing water spray system and directs a flow of water from two nozzles at the tail pulley. Spilled material from the lower conveyor can be carried to the tail pulley on the underside of the belt. If left to accumulate, the material can build up on the tail pulley. This can cause the belt to stretch or track incorrectly (crooked) and overload the conveyor bearings. The water spray system will reduce the amount of material build-up on the lower conveyor tail pulley.

The components of this spray system are listed in the chart and shown in Illustration 1. The lower conveyor side plates require modification as shown in Illustration 2 to install the spray system. This spray system is adaptable to PR-450 Pavement Profilers 503170-Up and 7DC1-Up.
