Usage:
Check to make sure parking brake is set.
- a. Push parking brake knob down to apply. S/N 6JD112 & up.
- b. Depress parking brake foot pedal to apply brake. S/N6JD1-111.
Press foot brake. (Do not operate if pedal exceeds half-travel.) (6JD1-111 only)
Switch vibratory system off.
Put propel lever in center stop position.

The machine is equipped with a safety start switch therefore the directional control lever must be in the stop position before the engine can be started. |
Fasten seatbelt.
Lower leveling blade if not lowered to ground.
Set throttle control lever to start position.
Turn key switch to on.
Press starter button, immediately release button when engine starts. (Do not crank engine longer than 10 second intervals.)
When engine is started, check oil pressure and ammeter for normal readings.
Run engine at half throttle for about 5 minutes or until normal engine operating temperature is reached.
