Usage:
This machine has been designed to be a superior compaction tool for job conditions normally encountered in a wide variety of construction sites. However, the machine has operating limitations which must be recognized in order to assure operation within the capacity of the systems provided.
Braking:
This machine has been designed and tested to meet SAE braking recommendations. This machine will stop at a distance of 5.7 feet when run at a top speed of 5 1/3 mph using the propel lever in stop position for braking. Emergency braking is provided by an independent system actuated by the foot brake pedal.

This test requirement is met on hard, level, dry surfaces. Operation on other conditions such as on a slope or loose material should be taken into account by reduction of speed. |
The CP-323, CS-323 has been designed with a narrow track for good trench accessibility and compaction in tight quarters. This results in a machine with operating limits which must be observed to prevent unexpected accidents or accidental injury. Suggested limits are shown below:
