New Engine Software and Aftertreatment Software are Now Used for 797F Tier 4 Off-Highway Trucks {1920, 7620}

Description Of Change:

Note: The new engine and aftertreatment software must be paired together as a set to ensure proper functionality of all features.

The new aftertreatment software has the following improvements:

  • Improved software logic for the NOx sensors in cold ambient temperatures to avoid false trips of low DEF quality events.

  • Improved software logic for DEF quality detection to avoid false trips of low DEF quality events.

  • Improvements to the Aftertreatment System Functional Test (ASFT) to allow a higher time to heal a level 2 and level 3 inducement.

  • Improvements to the DEF deposit maps to allow DEF dosing at certain machine operating conditions.

Adaptable To: The following changes are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.
