Introduction
A new shipping procedure is now used for the way that the listed machines are shipped from the facility. This change is made to allow for more trailer shipping options.
The stick cylinder on the boom will be sent from the facility pinned in the "Shipping Position".
Once the machine is received at the dealership, the boom cylinder pin should be changed to the "Working Position".
Problem
The stick cylinder on the boom is pinned to the stick must be changed from the shipping position to the working position. If the stick cylinder on the boom is left pinned in the shipping position, there may be interference with the work tool and the boom.

For the machines listed above, a new procedure has been implemented in the Athens facility to pin the stick cylinder in the "Shipping Position". Refer to Illustration 1, Illustration 2, and Illustration 3. This new procedure will provide more shipping options.
Note: If the stick cylinder is left in the "Shipping Position", the work tool may interfere with the boom.
