Description Of Change: The hydraulic tank is improved on the machines listed above. The new diffuser has a larger wall thickness and optimized hole pattern to extend the service life.
Adaptable To: The following changes are adaptable to the machines within the listed serial numbers, and are effective in production with all the machines after the listed serial numbers.

New 500-4034 Diffuser As replaces the former 338-5790 Tube As in Hydraulic tank.
A new support has been added to the end of the tube. This support can be used on the current and former tube.
Use the below rework procedure to improve the hydraulic tank.

- Install diffuser assembly (1) and secure using clip (2), clip (3), bolt (4), four washers (5), gasket (6), support bracket (7), locknut (8), bar (9), and two bolts (10). Refer to Illustration 2, Illustration 3, and Illustration 4.
