There is a new process for troubleshooting turbochargers when oil is present in the inlet or exhaust piping.

Note: Use the following even if there are no diagnostic codes present for crankcase pressure.

The Operation and Maintenance Manual, Maintenance Section contains procedures for cleaning two of the components in the crankcase ventilation system. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, Engine Crankcase Breather - Clean and Crankcase Fumes Fitting - Inspect/Clean for the appropriate procedures.

Ensure that the software is the most update file available for the engine. Clean the intake and exhaust piping and monitor for future signs of oil.
