New 441-4414 Exhaust Manifold Is Available for Use on Certain G3520C Landfill Engines {1059} Caterpillar

The new manifold no longer has the groove in the sealing flange to accommodate the seal. Field testing has shown that removing this groove and seal will increase the amount of contact between the bellow and manifold casting allowing for a more durable joint that is easily cleaned when removed. The smooth sealing face on the manifold is easily cleaned and reusability of these manifolds during overhauls is greatly increased. These new manifolds are drilled and tapped on both the top and bottom, allowing for use on the left or right bank of the engine. The top thermocouple hole that is not used will require a pipe plug. All other exhaust hardware remains the same so the new exhaust manifolds are direct replacement parts.
