Description of Change: The new software minimizes or reduces smoke level at start-up while staying within the start time requirement.
Adaptable To: The new 478-7381 Engine Software replaces the former 348-9870 Engine Software .
The new software is adaptable to the above engines back to first production.
This change is effective for the serial numbers listed in Table 1.
